Thanks for opening this PR - I agree that this will solve your immediate problem. It'll take us some time to evaluate other options and make sure this is the best design for the long-term.

In the meantime, please feel free to build and use Isaac ROS CLI from your fork.

Consolidate the files scripts/.isaac_ros_common-config and scripts/.isaac_ros_dev-dockerargs so they are in the same folder as the .isaac-ros-cli. This multiple files/locations made it harder to get this up and running. Perhaps even migrate them into the .isaac-ros-cli/config.yaml. Just some thoughts to make this easier to use.

Yes, config file unification is on our roadmap already. We are working to make sure there is a stable pathway for users of old config files to gradually migrate to the new, unified config.yaml file. As we make progress on that journey, we will gradually deprecate and then remove the previous assortment of config files.
